Dr. Walid Ghannouchi is currently a risk professional holding the position of Director of Operational Risk Management within Prudential Corporation Asia. Previously Dr. Walid was a management consultant with a particular focus on Investment Banking. He founded Efficept, an advisory boutique in strategy and organisationcovering the EMEA region. Dr. Walid was educated in Tunisia, Italy and the UK where he earned his Ph.D. in Banking and Finance.His research focused extensively on efficiency and value creation and covered Islamic and conventional banking in the MENA and South East Asia regions. Dr.Walid enjoys sharing his knowledge invarious areas of expertise; he lectures and delivers professional trainings in enterprise risk management, banking efficiency and Islamic finance. He is also frequently invited as a keynote speaker at international conferences and seminars.
